I have only been able to basically test it out, but it appears to be a better than average light for your AR Platform use. The color appears to be more reflective and less tan than in photo's. Iis also is heavier than others I have used, but it appears to be solidly built. I am happy to give up some weight in lieu of the ruggedness of a flashlight on my AR given the reasonable cost of the unit.

I just received this light today, haven't had any operational experience with this yet so understand that as you read this. The light that was ordered was in FDE but the light that was received is OD Green. If I had known OD Green was an option that is what I would have originally ordered, so in this case Primary Arms made a mistake that benefitted me with no cost to them. The box is even labeled FDE, so probably a mix up at the packaging facility which makes me question their actual quality control. One of the reasons that I purchased this light is that the description states that this light can be converted from a 2 to 3 cell unit. Despite several efforts and a friends internet research this is simply an impossibility. The result is a light that is about 1 1/2 inches longer than what I had originally projected. Because this has not had any immediate impacts on the functionality on my weapon system, only on the aesthetics and a little extra weight, I do not mind it too much. The pressure switch lacks the capability for a double-tap steady on function, which I really dislike. With a pressure switch you should be able to tap once for a flash, tap twice for steady on. This switch lacks the steady on capability. Save your money and skip the pressure switch. In terms of performance the, light is bright enough for CQB. Unfortunately at this time I am unable to assess battery life. If it were not for the color mistake (that I actually prefer) and the lack of modularity... Read More...

Very well made. Way larger than I expected, but very usable still. 1 star off because mounts are not changeable. Left handed so I want it mounted on lett side and there is no way to change the mounts, thumb screws or anything. So thumb screws face up an kinda looks goofy, but it works good, is very sturdy and blindingly bright, so I'm good with it.

I need to do a full review to see how the light holds up. Just received light in mail last night. I was very surprised about the quality of the light. The only thing I didn't care for is I feel the light is to big. But other then that so far like I said before I'm very surprised.

Built like a tank and bright as he'll! Only complaint is you can't reverse the mount.. when I tried to mount it at the 11o'clock position the mounting nuts totally block out my buis. Pretty standard mount pattern so it will accept aftermarket qd lever mounts for m951 ect.. if they sent it with a slimmer mount it would get five stars
